Beef Tenderloin with Garlic and Herbs

Main Ingredients
- 500g FAM Beef Tenderloin (4 pieces)
- 250g butter, cut into 4 cubes
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Seasoning
- 4 whole garlic cloves
- 2 fresh rosemary sprigs
- Crushed salt and pepper, to taste
Preparation Method

Heat the Pan
Heat a cast-iron or any dark, heavy pan with the oil.

Sear the Beef
Sizzle the beef for 2–3 minutes per side, until the color changes.

Season
Season with crushed salt and pepper.

Butter-Baste
Add the butter, garlic, and rosemary, and keep basting the meat with the sauce — 2–3 minutes more for a medium cook, 4–5 minutes for well done.

Rest
Rest the beef on a raised rack, pouring the hot sauce over the top.

Serve
Serve with sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or fries.
