Stir Fry Beef
Recipe Overview
A fast, glossy stir fry built on tender FAM Beef escalope, sliced thin and seared hot. A quick marinade keeps the beef silky while a savoury soy-and-oyster sauce coats every strip. On the table in minutes — just add steamed white rice.
For The Beef
- 2 FAM Beef escalope, sliced
- 1 medium onion, julienned
- 4 scallions, cut into pieces (whites and greens separated)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
For The Marinade
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1½ tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 2 tsp olive oil
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
For The Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- ½ tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 tsp sugar
Seasoning
- ¼ tsp black or white pepper
Preparation Method

Marinate the Beef
Slice the beef thinly against the grain and marinate with the soy sauce, cornstarch, vinegar, olive oil, baking soda, and oil for 15–20 minutes.

Mix the Sauce
Whisk together all the sauce ingredients and set aside.

Sauté the Aromatics

Sear and Toss
Increase the heat to medium-high and sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Pour in the sauce and stir until thickened. Add the garlic, scallion greens, and cooked onions, then toss everything together for another minute.

Serve
Serve with steamed white rice.
